Reconceptualising the ubiquitous #OOTD posts

The idea behind this mini-project is simple: to share my outfit ideas. However, as mentioned in a previous post, I was wondering how to go about it in a different way to what I usually come across as outfit posts. Suffice to say that I don’t believe I can rival the excellent blogs that I really enjoy following, whether they are local or foreign. I have to admit that I also don’t have the luxury of someone taking my photos – I know, that is not an excuse – and I feel I cannot impose on someone to be so patient and understanding. Time is also an issue, and we all know how much time we need for photo shoots, so I have make the best of the limited time I have (see previous post).

In the meantime, here’s is what I have in mind instead: grouping and posting either a ‘A Week in Outfits’ or a ‘Lookbook’, but focusing only on the clothes items (and accessories) and how I styled them. I guess that’s the best I can do considering the circumstances of things as they stand. I’m towing the line between managing my conditions and giving any readers out there something they like viewing, i.e. outfit posts, which are apparently more popular than other posts. So it looks like a win-win situation, doesn’t it? Here’s a sneak peek into some ideas for the ‘Lookbook’:
