Malta Fashion Week: Bridal Fashion Show

With two events taking place at the Sacra Infermeria (MCC), the evening was bound to be nothing short of grand. With the first show today starting in the late afternoon, we were offered a double bill of couture and design at their best. Particularly because the Bridal show took off first, with 4 design houses exhibiting their gowns to go hand in hand with the spring / summer 2015 wedding season (read on the New Designers show in the next post). As expected, some of the attendees were brides-to-be who wanted to get a clearer picture of how the gowns perform in action, in order for them to make the right choice for their special day. From embellished designs to more minimalist cuts, a bride-to-be is likely to find The Dress that would suit her taste and price range. Graceful codas swished on the catwalk, as the delicacy of the handiwork was very evident and reflective of the creative passion in each and every gown. The design houses for this afternoon’s show were: Anna Romysh x Wedding Bells; Impression Bridal by Bridal Creations; CF7 (tailored by Gaetano Deguara); and Rosa Clara by Ivory & Co.
