As you might recall from a recent local magazine article yours truly got published, I decided to immerse myself in the American culture partly by having many friendly chats with some of the locals. Meanwhile they were more than obliging to have their photos taken, so that little by little my ‘street wear’ portfolio started growing. By the end of my trip to the US, I had amassed a reasonable amount. What I like about these women is that their sense of style is personal, it is what they wear on a daily basis rather than for some black-tie event, so you could say it is more ‘raw’. Some snapshots here are from a mixture of backgrounds such as Columbia Univeristy (New York), San Francisco (Union Square area), and Los Angeles (Venice Beach), but the different looks share one underlying principle: simplicity and comfort without compromising the style and how it reflects their personality.
p.s. They also make good ideas for outfits of the day 🙂
