As part of a new project, I am bringing some ideas of how you can inject some more fun into your wardrobe, and Mango is an ideal starting point, not only for its affordable prices but also for the good quality it offers. I have always been a fan of this Spanish retail store, because it provides me with a fair balance between classic and work-appropriate on the one hand, and a touch of flair and playfulness on the other. If you are not that adventurous with your style but would still like to try something different and would not mind changing it up, the new season at Mango promises interesting pieces, and you would still be on point as far as the fashionableness is concerned 😉 The following ideas were inspired by my visit to the Mango store in Main Street, Paola.
Idea no. 1: Turn up the chic quality in your sweater-wear by pairing it with a pair of pleather pants (that have a very comfortable fit by the way due to the stretch material at the back); keep the colour palette on the blush side with these nude lace-ups (nude is the new black!) and finish off with a backpack of this size.
Idea no. 2: Usher winter white into spring with this soft plush sleeveless cardi worn over an animal-print dress; match the bag with the cardi rather than the shoes (for the latter keep it neutral so once again the lace-ups are a classy choice)
Idea no. 3: Grab this piece for its easy-breezy feel, lush sheer material. Keep it modern with a tan studded bag and high-rise ankle boots in suede (do not shy away from donning different shades of brown/tan, especially with this African-inspired print)
Idea no. 4: Speaking of rust colours (to which I am strongly drawn for their richness), put aside your classic topper by opting for this brushed reddish rust jacket instead. It fits like a glove with the ribbed maxi dress under and do not forget to add a pop of pattern with this tribal-inspired bag (which seems to be made of rattan)
Idea no. 5: Coming back full circle to our favourite non-colour, black, here is an almost all-black everything, bare for the shoulder detail which allows a peek of skin, and the nude-hued clutch which spells spring rather than winter (structured enveloped clutches are back this season!)
Which is your favourite look?
