The first show of #MFWA2016 day 6 was all about fun. The brainchild of Australian designer Natasha Meli, Freeze Frame officially made its debut during fashion week. One can also find the store in Cathedral Street, Sliema, or shop online otherwise.
Having spoken to Natasha a couple of times and written about her quest for the truth in fashion (read more here), it also transpires from the runway collection that sequins are at the core of her vision, and indeed she hopes to give them a better reputation. Entitled Punk by Sequin, the style sees a convergence between rock and glitz, a sort of glam rock if you will. The styles appeal to young women who want to enjoy themselves and get dressed up without taking themselves too seriously. The good quality of the sequins and other materials used allowed the pieces to make a striking appearance on the catwalk and the extra touch via the daring hair and make-up did punk up the look.
From swimwear to fuller length dresses, Freeze Frame showcased a versatile collection suitable for all lovers of sequins, lace, and fun!
