The red dress – Outfit idea #1

Maxi dresses are a safe option in summer but risk getting boring if worn in the same way, time and time again. At the same time, maxis in one colour are versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion, crowd, and mood. In this case, the red maxi struck me immediately, and paired with clean white sneakers looks so different than if worn with your usual sandals. The sports look is completed by means of adding a third piece, which is often what gives an outfit a more interesting and completed getup. This multicoloured sweater (which also has red lines incidentally) is a great comfortable layering piece once the sun goes down and if it gets slightly breezy, especially by the beach. Until its warm, it functions as a belt, as it adds definition to the waist and extra colour too. Additionally, the white parts of the sweater are intoned to the sneakers. I would wear this outfit to a BBQ by the sea, for the length of the dress oozes style while keeping it casual. The sweater does not only keep you warm, but is also a protective layer against mosquitoes, while the sneakers keep your feet clean from the sand. The last piece I would take with me would be a handy backpack, and this tan piece is of such good quality and a lovely cut. I totally loved it as soon as I saw it. So what do you think about this first look? This is one of a number to come as part of my collaboration with Main Street Shopping Complex – check out their page here and keep an eye out for their great offers! All the pieces shown here are from Pull & Bear, which offers stylish pieces at affordable prices.
