Raise your hands if you find yourself in a similar position to mine: you want to go out, but it has been a hot, humid day, and the last thing you want to do is think of what to wear. At the same time, you want to look good, almost effortlessly stylish. Am I right? One option comes in the form of a breezy maxi dress, which material is neither too clingy nor too elaborate. I found one from Mango a couple of months before the summer was upon us, knowing fully well that a dress like this would sell out pretty quickly.
Soon after snagging it, I realised it was the same piece worn by Kendall Jenner in the Mango 2016 campaign. Now I am no fan of the KUWTK clan, but I definitely was interested in the safari-themed collection offered by Mango. The earth-toned colours, the minimalist cuts, the tribal detailing, what is there not to like? I am definitely not a Kendall Jenner, but I sure have a ball whenever I slip on this dress. Dressing it up or down is easy, the detail is in the accessorising. In this OOTD idea, I balanced the look with a tote, while a slight heel was added thanks to my Vince Camuto pair, which I have been wearing all summer ever since I got them last August from Las Vegas. The cutout styling of these sandals gives the look a bit of an edge. This outfit was worn on one of the Fashion Week nights. Yep, you guessed it, I have not really shown you my outfits, have I? I will surely share them with you soon, as well as those in collaboration with Main Street, given that event season has quieted down as it does during the summer. Have a look and let me know what you think!
