Brand loyalty is a concept that I have grown to understand and respect. There is a sense of comfort and emotional satisfaction knowing that you can rely on brands whose products keep getting better and better. This is the case of ALDO shoes for me.
Why ALDO? I have previously mentioned my love for this brand, not only because of its connection to the fashion world (ALDO has been one of the sponsors of Malta Fashion Week and Awards, as well as other fashion events for quite a while now) but also because it offers styles and designs ranging from the full-on classic to the trendy and stylish. Even the classic designs are contemporary so there is no way that they would look like your grandma’s shoes. Another reason why I choose ALDO over certain other brands is that it specialises in shoes and, although I do have a few pairs from high street stores which are very comfortable and well-made, knowing that I am buying from a shoe store is better because of all the work that is put in to produce a specific item. Let us say that there is a finer attention to detail in shoe production. The materials feel very luxurious and for the price you pay, it is good value for money. Plus, their regular discounts and offers mean that it is often considered a justified steal rather than a splurge. Of course, one should not forget the bags and accessories sections which are equally enticing and very current.
The fact that ALDO is doing well in Malta is indicative from the opening and launch of another store not very far off from one of its main ones (at the Point in Sliema). Bang in the middle of the entertainment area, the ALDO team has landed in Bay Street, which is a strategic move considering all the foreigners (and locals) passing by. To celebrate this event, a party was organised a few nights ago and I must say the crowd was as colourful and vibrant as the wares on offer.
So once again, why choose ALDO? Bottom line: it is worth the money because you are paying for quality and comfort without compromising style and design.
Side note: Here is what I wore for the night and I also found a couple of bags that matched my all-blue outfit:
